TRADITIONAL LEASE ACQUISITION/LAND SERVICES
RESLLC provides complete lease acquisition services concentrating in the Gulf Coast area. However, we have negotiated leases in 18 states including Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvannia.
Our staff is comprised of qualified professionals with many years of experience in all phases of the lease acquisition process. We believe that generating a maximum output within a minimum amount of time is the only way to meet the needs of the industry in a cost-effective manner.
From the smallest to the largest of prospects, our services can be tailored to meet the specific needs of each of our clients. Our staff has extensive experience in lease rental payments as well as the disbursement of production royalties. We can handle all phases of a prospect from the conception of a geologic idea through the drilling, production and selling of a producing property.
Pipeline Right-of-Way Acquisition
Whether our clients are purchasing an infield line to hook up a new well for first time production or constructing an intrastate pipeline for mass transportation needs, RESLLC has the experience to assist or coordinate the entire project. Having all the necessary skills and personnel in place: title, negotiation – both landowner and company, environmental awareness, on-site field coordination, damage control, foresight, as well as a “real world” perception for any project; enables RESLLC to plan, coordinate and implement any pipeline project to our clients’ expectations.
FIELD DEVELOPMENT & LOGISTICS
RESLLC works closely with the client and provides comprehensive "boots on the ground" services to facilitate proper field development. Prior to official staking & survey of production facilities, surface hole locations, well pads, access roads and ROWs, we locate surface sites from coordinates provided by client and provides feedback regarding possible relocation depending on waters of the US, wetlands, ROWs, unmarked creeks, lakes, structures, unit lines, property lines, power lines and landowner concerns. We coordinate with client land and pre-production construction departments, landowner, surveyor and environmental for the official staking & survey.
Other field development duties include:
SERVICES FOR PRODUCING PROPERTY ACQUISITIONS
With the continued emphasis in the industry on the acquisition of currently producing properties, the RESLLC staff has obtained extensive due diligence experience in a wide array of property acquisitions both onshore and offshore, including deep water. We have provided our services in numerous property acquisitions with an aggregated value totaling over $3 billion dollars. These transactions vary in size from as small as one well to as large as multimillion dollar acquisitions involving as many as 1200 wells and cover lands across the continental United States, offshore Gulf of Mexico including shelf and deep water properties and lands in Western Canada.
We realize that our function in a property acquisition is very similar to our function in exploration. A well-rounded professional land services company should be very proficient at abstracting titles in courthouse records, researching regulatory agency files and reviewing title opinions. This experience should also include expertise in researching all phases of lease records and division order files as well as reviewing contracts related to the property.
However, in a property acquisition, our staff uses its experience and knowledge to review what has been done in the past and to make decisions as to its application and effect upon the proposed acquisition. It is this experience and knowledge that, when closely coordinated with the activities of the examining attorney(s) and company landman, enables our staff to confidently handle any matters that arise in the acquisition process.
We provide clients with the capability of reviewing, analyzing and estimating costs for the due diligence process in the early evaluation stage of an acquisition. We then can continue with the best in thorough due diligence services.
Perhaps the most difficult part of the acquisition process is the incorporation of the property into the new owner’s management system. It is our goal to provide a complete package of due diligence services and post-acquisition follow-up backed with extensive experience so as to assure an efficient, trouble-free transition of the property of the new owner.
3-D SEISMIC PERMITTING AND/OR OPTION ACQUISITION
RESLLC recognizes the most active and developing phase of our industry has been the acquisition of 3-D Seismic Permits and/or Options. In addition to participating in several large lease/option/permit plays, we have worked with several local attorneys, company landmen and current 3-D Industry players in reviewing, evaluating and preparing permits and/or options which are suitable for both the client and landowner. RESLLC has the perfect blend of professional experience coupled with modern computer technology to aggressively undertake any 3-D project.
ABSTRACTING SERVICES
With the recent acquisition of two local south Louisiana abstracting firms, along with eleven years of abstracting inventory, RESLLC continues to offer complete abstracting services in a manner that can be tailored to meet the specific title requirements of our clients, including in-depth abstract coverage over several parishes and the entire gulf coast. This is achieved through an aggressive, experienced staff and contemporary computer applications. We have found that an abstracting team, operating independently of any leasing and/or 3-D activity or in conjunction with landmen, performs a vital service to many clients.
CURATIVE SERVICES
Being able to provide experienced title curative services to our clients is a necessity. Our curative staff provides our clients with professional title curative service and insight into everyday curative matters as well as being available to assist landmen in avoiding future title curative problems during the lease acquisition process. This curative staff also provides complete research services at the Department of Conservation and the Office of Mineral Resources.
